There is still time to register for classes for the coming 2025-26 school year. If you are interested or need help in navigating classes for your student, we are here to help. Just drop us a question on our CONNECT page and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Though we have a few classes quickly filling up, we still have room is many others. We also added an additional Drawing class to the 9am (first period) slot. since the 12pm time is full.

Hope you all are gearing up for another wonderful year homeschooling. Or, if you are new to this venture, know you will be truly blessed with the decision you made to homeschool.

Also, in case you are not familiar with CHEA or FPM, these are two amazing organizations available to help you navigate this amazing journey. Wanted to remind all those still trying to determine their classes for next year that we will be having an OPEN HOUSE on August 5th from 10am-2pm at CBC. There will be classes on display and seasoned homeschoolers, besides staff, to chat with. Check out our CLASSES and SCHEDULE for 2025-26 to see if HSFM would be a good fit for your student. 

Also, for those of you planning to join us this next year, August 5 is ORIENTATION. Elementary orientation is from 10-10:30am and JH/HS are from 11-12pm. Please let us know if you will not be able to attend. It is important for all students to be there as well as a parent or guardian. 

ANY QUESTIONS...please do not hesitate to ask. There is still room in our classes.

]]><![CDATA[Donations Accepted]]>Fri, 27 Dec 2024 07:11:37 GMThttps://www.hsfmservices.org/announcements/donations-accepted2024 Tax-deductible Gifts - We trust each family made cherished memories with loved ones during this Christmas season.  Now as the 2024 bookkeeping is coming to a close and some families may still be considering year-end giving, we wanted to send a quick reminder that HSFM is a 501c3 non-profit ministry that is able to receive tax-deductible donations.  

Every family who participates in HSFM classes is already a blessing that helps make these classes possible.  We know that paying for faith-based classes without government funding is a sacrifice, so class fees are based on a very lean budget.  We are grateful for donations at any time during the year, but if you want to consider giving to HSFM as a 2024 tax-donation, it is not too late.

Hope you all had a wonderful summer!

Coming up on AUGUST 27th is our final in-person Registration, as well as our Orientation for all families that are registered for classes or plan to register for 2024-25 school year. Even if you have attended an Orientation in the past, please don't miss this one as each year new information is given. Plus, it is always a blessing to reunite with classmates, as well we meet new ones.

The Orientation times are as follows: Elementary students 10:00am-10:30am & Junior High/High School students 11:00am-12pm.

If you are not able to attend the Orientation, please let us know. 

If you can't make it on the 27th for registration, you can have someone else drop off your forms on the day or email them and one of our staff will contact you.

CHEA ~ LOCAL 1-DAY CONVENTION June 10 ~ Whether you are a seasoned home school family or new to homeschooling, you might want to check out this 1 day opportunity to hear inspirational speakers and visit the curriculum exhibit hall.  It is free for CHEA members and only $10 for non-members.
"The Christian Home Educators Association (CHEA) of California is a non-profit ministry established in 1982 to provide information, support, and training to the home education community throughout the state. We define home education as parent-directed, home-based, privately-funded education." 
 TESTING, BJU PRESS - CHEA (Christian Home Educators Association) is partnering with Family Protection Ministries, National Home Education Research, and BJU Press to conduct California specific homeschool research.  The CHEA administrators have reached out to HSFM because they need large amounts of data, and are looking for homeschool families to test this year through BJU.  By testing with BJU (all personal data is confidential), we can help these organizations compile statistical information to help defend private homeschooling with our California legislators if and when homeschooling's effectiveness becomes an issue and lawmakers attempt to pass legislation that regulates and controls our freedoms to homeschool privately.  They need students to participate in testing before the end of July 2021.   For more information, you can reference these websites.  Also, remember to keep our legislators in your prayers as well as the homeschool advocates and attorneys who serve through these ministries.]]>
